I’m a Filipina living in Italy
I grew up learning and speaking English confidently. When I moved to Italy to study fashion, I suddenly felt my personality change. My inability to communicate in Italian was not just a source of frustration and insecurity, but was also undermining my capacity to express myself. This is when I realized it was not enough to learn a language. It is crucial to be able to communicate in that language authentically.
My story begins with the most pivotal email I ever sent, one filled with courage and self-discovery. After over a decade in the fashion industry, I left behind the glamour and toxicity, embracing a new path as a mother.
As I sought a fulfilling career that honored my role as a mom, I realized my English communication skills held the key. I delved into EFL teaching, gaining experience while craving something more impactful.
During a one-on-one session, I saw the power of addressing a specific need, sparking a revelation. English is a global skill, and I could tailor my coaching to fashion professionals and entrepreneurs. This epiphany led to the birth of my coaching business.
